Terms of service
The English version is binding.
1. The service
Rinexlab is a cloud GNSS post-processing service operated by Premium Positioning B.V. (Utrecht, the Netherlands, KvK 76100413) together with its affiliate Premium Positioning LLC (United States). It provides virtual RINEX generation, PPP and differential processing on observation data you upload or request.
2. Contracting entity
Your contract and invoices are with Premium Positioning B.V., whatever your country, and you are invoiced in euros. The billing country you select before your first payment determines the taxes applied; it is fixed after the first payment and a change requires a support request with your company registration certificate.
3. Accounts
One account per person or organisation. You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for activity under your account. API keys are bound to your account and may not be shared outside your organisation.
4. Credits and billing
One credit corresponds to one hour of rover observation data, with rate multipliers for high-rate data (x2 at 0.5 s or 0.2 s, x3 at 0.1 s), billed in quarter-hour increments with a minimum of one credit per operation. A virtual RINEX can cover any window of the last 60 days; a window starting more than 30 days before the order is billed at 1.5 times the credits of the same window within the last 30 days. Credits are priced at 0.95 EUR; plans lower the unit price of additional credits by 5 to 15 %. Monthly and yearly plans renew a credit allowance each month and are paid in advance through Stripe. Every new account receives ten welcome credits. Welcome and plan credits are consumed before purchased credits and expire twelve months after they are granted. Processing jobs are billed on the window of data selected, with the recording-interval multiplier for kinematic jobs only, a multiplier when every available orbit product is used, and a supplement per additional base station in differential processing; the amounts are shown before the job starts. Purchased credits stay valid as long as the account is active; after twelve months without any activity (no processing, purchase, plan payment or sign-in) half of the remaining purchased credits expire, and the remainder expires after eighteen months. Reminders are shown in the application and, where an e-mail address is on file, sent one and two months before each expiry. Expired credits are not refunded. Failed or rejected operations are not billed; credits debited for an operation that fails are refunded automatically. Prices exclude VAT and sales taxes: the tax due for your billing address is added at checkout and shown on the invoice, and business customers in the European Union who enter a valid VAT number are invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism. An invoice is issued for every purchase and plan payment and can be downloaded from the Credits page. If a payment is refunded or reversed, the credits it bought are withdrawn in proportion.
5. Availability and fair use
We target 99.9% monthly API availability. Processing outcome is best effort: results depend on observation quality and reference data availability, which sit outside our control. Bulk or abusive traffic may be rate-limited.
6. Your data
Uploaded and generated files are retained for one year, within the storage limit of your plan. You can export or delete your data at any time. Account deletion takes effect after a 14-day grace period, during which it can be cancelled.
7. Liability and law
The service is provided without warranty of fitness for a specific survey purpose; verify results before relying on them. Liability is capped at the fees paid over the last 12 months. Contracts are governed by Dutch law with venue in Utrecht.
